Personal data we process
RHB Classics processes personal data that you provide when you contact us, request information or enter into an agreement with us. The website also processes a limited amount of technical data required for secure operation.
Depending on your contact with us, this may include:

- Correspondence and information you provide about your enquiry, purchase, sale or other assignment
- Agreement, invoice, payment and delivery details when you are a customer or supplier
- Technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, device information and session and security data
Special-category data and children’s data
RHB Classics does not intend to collect special-category personal data or data about children under the age of 16 through this website. Please do not provide such data unless this is necessary and there is a valid legal basis. If you believe that we have received such data unintentionally, please contact us at info@rhb-classics.nl.
Purposes and legal bases
RHB Classics processes personal data for the following purposes and on the corresponding legal bases:
- Answering enquiries, providing information and preparing an offer: necessary to take steps before entering into an agreement or based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries
- Performing agreements, processing payments and deliveries, and related communication: necessary for the performance of the agreement
- Maintaining financial and tax records: necessary to comply with legal obligations
- Operating, securing and managing the website: necessary for our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and reliable website
Automated decision-making
RHB Classics does not make decisions with significant effects on individuals based solely on automated processing or profiling.
How long we retain personal data
RHB Classics does not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a legal obligation or legitimate interest requires a longer period. In principle, we use the following retention periods:
- Enquiries and correspondence that do not result in an agreement: no more than 2 years after the last contact
- Agreements, invoices and data forming part of our tax records: 7 years, or longer where a specific statutory retention obligation applies
- The functional session cookie: until you close your browser or no later than after 2 hours of inactivity; expired session data is cleaned up automatically
- Security and administration logs within the website: 180 days, unless longer retention is necessary to investigate a security incident or for legal proceedings
Sharing personal data with third parties
RHB Classics does not sell your personal data. We share data only where this is necessary for our services, administration, security or a legal obligation. Recipients may include our hosting and email providers, technical service providers, administrative or professional advisers and competent public authorities. Where required, we enter into agreements with processors regarding security and confidentiality.
An embedded Google Maps map is loaded automatically on the contact page. When you visit that page, your browser connects directly to Google. Google may process information including your IP address, browser and device data, the page visited and cookies. For more information, please read Google’s Privacy Policy.
Links to WhatsApp and social media become active only when you click them. From that moment, the privacy policy of the relevant external service applies.
Cookies and similar technologies
RHB Classics uses only strictly necessary functional cookies for session management and protection against misuse of forms. These cookies are required for the website to operate securely. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and do not track visitors for personalised advertising.
Google Maps is loaded directly on the contact page. Google may use its own cookies or similar technologies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent secure parts of the website from working correctly and may prevent the map from being displayed.
Your privacy rights
To the extent provided by the GDPR in your circumstances, you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict its processing, object to processing and receive or transfer your data. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
You can submit a request to info@rhb-classics.nl. To prevent disclosure to the wrong person, we may request additional information that allows us to verify your identity in the least intrusive way possible. Do not send a full copy of your identity document unless we specifically ask you to do so.
We normally respond to your request within one month. For a complex request, this period may be extended as permitted by the GDPR; if so, we will notify you within one month. If you have a complaint about our processing of your personal data, please contact us first where possible. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
How we protect personal data
RHB Classics takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration. If you believe that data is not properly secured or that it is being misused, please contact us at info@rhb-classics.nl.
