The unofficial nickname Queen Mary goes back to the US automobile magazine Road & Track, which subjected the car to a test in 1969. The authors referred to the exceptionally large and in their opinion somewhat unwieldy, but very comfortable 365 GT 2+2 as “Ferrari’s Queen Mary”.

This Queen Mary was delivered new through the Belgian Ferrari dealer Garage Franchorchamps in June 1970, in Argento Auteuil with black leather interior. The car has been registered in the Netherlands since 1973 and has had 3 Dutch owners. The first owner has had the car for over 30 years, the second owner for 13 years and the current owner has owned the car since 2014.

The car is very well documented and has been certified by Ferrari Classiche in 2008 and comes with the well-known Red Book with the ‘Certificate of Authenthicity’.

In 2008 the engine has been fully rebuilt by a recognised specialist and has since been serviced by well-known Dutch specialist workshops.

The car is fully matching numbers and still has the original colors as it left the factory in 1970. The beautifully patinated interior is still fully original. The paintwork and chrome are in great condition.

In short, a great driving example and a joy to be used in various events.
